Il Polo OPTOSCANA ha sede gestionale presso l’Area CNR del Polo Scientifico di Sesto Fiorentino (vedi: http://www.area.fi.cnr.it/sesto_arrivare.htm).
La rete scientifica ha un’ampia distribuzione territoriale e conta circa 50 laboratori afferenti, di cui: 3 Laboratori congiunti Università-Impresa, 20 del CNR, 14 di UNIFI, UNPI e UNISI, 2 di CPR. Ad essi si aggiungono i laboratori privati: 6 presso il Gruppo EL.EN. e 5 presso Selex Galileo.

OPTOSCANA Innovation Pole of Tuscany on Photonics for Industrial, Biomedical and Space Applications is based at CNR Area within the Scientific Pole of the University of Florence in Sesto Fiorentino (see also: http://www.area.fi.cnr.it/sesto_arrivare.htm).
Moreover, The network of the research centerscentres has a wider geographical distribution and it is composed by of approximately 50 laboratories: 3 Business-University Joint LaboratoryLaboratories, 20 belonging to CNR, 14 from the Universities of Florence, Siena and Pisa and 2 belonging to Consorzio Pisa Ricerche. In addition there are also a few private laboratories: 6 at the EL.EN. Group and 5 at Selex Galileo.
